Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. The Services

Policy Profit provides software to help you track commissions, renewals, and related business metrics. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of law or third-party rights, or to transmit unlawful or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems or networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services, except where prohibited by law.
• Use the Services to build a competing product or service, or scrape or bulk-export data in a way that burdens the Services without our consent.
• Upload malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of data you submit to the Services (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide Customer Data and that your use complies with applicable laws (including insurance and privacy regulations where they apply to you).

5. Fees and trials

Paid plans, fees, billing cycles, and taxes are described at checkout or in your order. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Free trials may convert to paid subscriptions unless you cancel before the trial ends, as disclosed at signup.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, branding, documentation, and design, are owned by Policy Profit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. THE SERVICES ARE A TOOL FOR YOUR BUSINESS; YOU REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH CARRIER RULES, LICENSING, AND PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATIONS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLICY PROFIT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Policy Profit against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product notice). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms or the Services lies in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where prohibited by law.
